All Grace Deacon wants to do is forget.
As a third generation mortician, Grace has seen her fair share of bodies. But nothing has prepared her for what she discovers in the basement of her family’s funeral home.
The recent and tragic death of her family has her teetering on the edge of reality; she yearns for oblivion. But her handsome new neighbor seems determined to save her despite her protests.
All Grace wants is to put the past behind her — to sell the Deacon Funeral Home and escape to a foreign country with the cash.
But a powerful and dangerous secret is buried in the bowels of the Home. It’s the Deacons’ job to protect that secret, but someone has found it out. Grace must embrace her legacy and commit to life in Hemlock Hollow to save the souls of her family members and the human race. Will she discover who’s after the secret before it’s too late?

Here’s What Several Reviewers Had To Say:
Loved this storyline and can’t wait to start book 2. This book has humor, sexiness, drama, and of course, paranormal story. Definitely a series to start if you like something with a little bit of everything…including paranormal!

Can’t even call it a real book. Its a sample at best.
It introduces the characters, the setting, conflict and all that but it doesnt even go anywhere near the climax (and definitely far far away from the conclusion) before it ends.
It’s like the author wrote a book, split into 3 parts and called the first part “Book1”. You’ll have to buy all the rest of the books in the series if you wanna know what the rest of the story (like what’s with the basement, wtf are they if they’re not human) etc etc.

I really enjoyed this book and others written by this author.
I learned about this book in the KDP forums. Another author was whining about this book’s reviews and how he thought they were fake. He was asking how he could report this author. Why this was any concern to him is beyond me. Competing authors should mind their own business and spend more time improving their own books instead of wondering what someone else is doing.
I response, I immediately downloaded this book, read it and left this sterling review. I will even download any others by this author and read them too! GREAT JOB!!!
