Stand Alone Novel – A Bad Boy Military Crime and Suspense Tale Set In the Civilian World
50 Shades of Grey Meets Kill Bill in M.P. Lodi’s Noah’s Rise.
Noah and Emily couldn’t be more different. She grew up poor, and he grew up in the world of the wealthy. Wanting something more out of life but worrying she will never get the kind of man she always dreamed of, Emily falls for a bad boy who is a former M.P. that served in Afghanistan. He is best friends with Emily’s best friend’s new husband, a billionaire who is known worldwide. Noah grew up as the pampered heir to his father’s fortune, but as a patriot he served his country. In Afghanistan, he hand-picked a unit filled with people who would do anything to protect and defend freedom, despite the rules of engagement that put all military men and women’s lives at risk. To keep his friends safe after tragedy strikes, Noah and his unit make war on organized crime, with national shattering results. Called ‘Noah Hood’ by the media, he and his men fight the mob and do what they deem as needed. They rob from the wealthy drug dealers and mobsters and give millions to the poor. Their reputation grows daily as the F.B.I. and other law-enforcement agencies are on the hunt to catch them.
As Noah and Emily’s romance hangs in the balance, Emily’s love for Noah comes into question while they’re on the run. Can steamy fantasy-filled sex hold them together while surrounded by chaos? Will Emily be able to live a life on the run as Noah’s fame, coupled with the fanatical loyalty of his men sets them all on a collision course with destiny? Noah’s Rise – Bad Boy Military Romance is a stand-alone novel, but also part of the Billionaire Romance series by M.P. Lodi.

Here’s What Several Reviewers Had To Say:
I’ve read the the first book books in this series and was extremely happy to receive an advanced release copy from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review. To be honest, I would have bought this because I liked the others so much. But what us better than a great book? A Free great book, am I right? “Noah’s Rise” picks up right where “Pulsating Holiday” ended with the title character Noah on the run from the law because he brutally murdered two hitmen who had already been subdued and restrained. Now Noah is fleeing capture with his unfortunate but very loving fiance. Noah has a lot of connections from his service in the military, but he is also a steroid abuser and given to explosive outbursts at any time. There are many hysterically funny moments in the book as well. My favorite was the discussion about dinosaur erotica. I have two real life friends who write in this genre, so it was a wicked pleasure to see it discussed in another novel. Noah’s Rise is a great third entry into Lodi’s series and I can’t wait for the next one.

I was sent an advanced review copy for an honest review. As a fan already of the author I knew I’d enjoy this latest book in the series. M.P. Lodi did a wonderful job writing this one. Much more action than the first 2 books and longer. This one focuses on Noah and Emily more than the billionaire Jackson and his wife Jen. Noah leads his soldier buddies in a war on the mafia and organized crime, he opens up with Emily and they explore some sexual fantasies in the middle of the stress and tension of being on the run and staying in hideouts. There was some great character development and Noah’s crew will most definitely be in the next book. This book says the next one is called Joshua’s Genius at the very end. Joshua, Charlotte, Mike, Caesar, and Jacob make up the bulk of Noah’s ‘Merry Men’ as the media called him. He is Noah Hood, who steals from drug dealers and mobsters and gives money to the people. The book has it all. Sex, conflict, humor, war, and very entertaining. I loved this one.

After reading other books by M.P.Lodi I was happy to receive a copy of this book from the author for a fair and honest review. I have loved the stories that centered around Jen and Jackson with their friends Emily and Noah so I was excited to see that this book was a continuation that was focused on Noah and Emily with Jen and Jackson as the background players. In this story Noah and Emily are on the run from the FBI after Noah took matters into his own hands in the previous book. I thought it was very cool that Jen talked about writing books and using the pen name M.P. Lodi. The writing as always flows really well and the sex scenes are fantastic. I loved reading this book and honestly would have paid for it if I hadn’t received the free copy. I plan on seeing these four characters to the end of the series and cannot wait to read more.
