Blair Howard is a stock and travel photographer and writer whose published works include more than 3,000 photographs and 600 magazine and newspaper articles. He is the author of 18 books going into 29 editions.

Blair's photographs and articles have been published in PHOTOgraphic Magazine (including the cover photograph and the cover story of the final edition), Popular Woodworking Magazine, Delta's Sky Magazine, TWA's Ambassador Magazine, Country Accents Magazine, The Walking Magazine, Golf Digest, British Heritage, England's Mail on Sunday, The Boston Herald, The Detroit Free Press, Indianapolis Star, Kansas City Star, Nashville Daily Banner, Tours & Resorts Magazine, Spur Magazine and many more.

His photography is represented by one of the world's largest and most prestigious stock photo agencies: Index Stock Images of New York.

Blair’s career as a photojournalist has taken him to many corners of the globe for magazine assignments. From round-up articles about Chattanooga to covering exotic locations in the Caribbean and Shakespeare’s country in England, Blair has done it all. His latest assignment – Seven Tips For Photographing Paris – took him to the home of the Eiffel Tower, the city of romance – Paris.

A large part of what Blair does these days is to teach others to do what he does. Blair instructs photographers and writers of all levels of skill and experience how to shoot saleable images and how to write about the places they visit. Thus, they too can make extra money and enjoy the perks of being a professional photojournalist. All expenses are paid for by others – magazines. Editors are more than willing to cover air faire, hotels and meals in return for a well written article accompanied by stunning photography.

Blair calls himself "lazy."  He says "I would rather write one article and sell it a few dozen times, than write dozens of articles and sell them once!"   Hmmmm ... is that lazy or it is SMART!
