Written with compassion,, River Smith leads the reader to see how abundant and attainable these ingredients coupled with other tools can be blended into our personal lives. Into our community. Into our world. The book more than inspired from the writer to the reader, is a well thought-out plan for peace within oneself. The simple methods laid down in the book reach deep into the soul and the heart of us as humankind. It is a must-read for all. It begins and continues with each of us.” –Dari Bartos
“Terrific for the therapist’s lending library A great graduation gift. A self-help guide that really helps. I am delighted to have “A Conspiracy to Love” on my bookshelf. It is an unusual book in many ways. It is a disarmingly welcoming and easy to read book. It feels as cozy as a child’s bedtime reading. Smith’s simple formulas for helping us to get intimate with our own needs and wants and pursue them with tact, honesty, courage and self-acceptance are exactly the kinds of tools and life lessons that I have usually learned the hard way, through repeated, painful trial and error experience…. As a counselor, minister and healer, I feel empowered to guide people in simple, gentle paths to a better life, with this book…. The kind, unflinching truthful-ness and love that shines through the pages of this powerful little book have changed my life.” –Victor L. Lewis, Director at Radical Resilience Institute (Review for a previous edition)
