About the Author
A long-time literature lover and voracious reader, Jamie has cherished reading to young children, and in particular, seeing their joy and laughter during a delightful story. Jamie has always enjoyed writing and remembers writing poetry and stories as early as eight years old. An especially fond memory of Jamie’s is that of her grandfather typing her first poem on his manual, vintage Smith Corona typewriter.
Jamie C. McHugh is an experienced educator, school administrator and workshop presenter. Jamie has taught children and adults of many ages and has been lucky enough to volunteer and teach in Canada, Egypt and Brazil.
