Being an avid fantasy reader, I was thrilled to begin to read this novel. It created a lovely balance of your human teenage aspect and the large scale heaven vs hell aspects of fantasy. The writing was beautiful descriptive, while not giving a way to much that it didn’t keep you on your toes. I’m already anxiously waiting for book two!
Fairytales, we’ve all been told them.
Witches and warlocks,
Vampires and werewolves.
Myths made to keep you awake at night.
But what about the stories we’re not told?
What about the stories that are still being written?
The real danger that lurks in the night,
that crawls in the shadows blacker than black.
Evil in every corner, living among us.
And the ones who stand against them,
the ones who fight for you as you sleep.
Pushing darkness back into the depths of where it came.
An ancient battle rages on.
The invisible war is becoming visible.
Which side will you choose?

About the Author
Luke Valen, born and raised in small town America, grew up on green chili and hot desert days. After attending New Mexico State University, Luke embarked on his life journey in the direction of Los Angeles, California. He has had the pleasure of sharing the television screen with some of the best. From network shows of TNT, CBS, TBS, and more, Luke has expanded his skills from script to screen. Though a more true flame burned within; the fires of an author. Having always had a passion for creating, writing was no stranger. In fact, creating alternate worlds from pen to paper has always been his number one art form.
“My mind will never stop creating alter egos and worlds unseen, drifting into the realms only I know. I want the world to see what I see. I can’t wait for my daughters to dive into the world of books.”-Luke Valen
Having now completed his debut novel, book one of three in the AngelFire Series, the invisible war is becoming visible. Luke lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife and daughter (and another on the way).
