Better Health Through Taste:
Easy Transformation with Ayurveda
These recipes aim to enable anyone to use Ayurvedic knowledge in the kitchen, for a delicious way to well-being.
The ability of taste alone to restore and maintain balance in your mind and body, is used in this recipe book to empower you to make delicious meals in the kitchen. Ayurveda identifies six tastes: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent, and astringent. These tastes affect each of us and we all have preferences for these tastes based on our unique mind-body type.
We can identify which mind-body type we are in the short questionnaire we take, after the introduction. Ayurveda identified three controlling principles called doshas and these lead to primary and secondary mind-body types which directly influence our requirements and our suitable diet for well-being. You can then use your results as a guide to choose suitable recipes in this book which are organised for the three types, called Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
Included in this book are three Spice Mixes for Vata, Pitta and Kapha which are used in most of the recipes to provide a simple and quick way to prepare a meal. With a little briefing on how Ayurveda works, you will be able to use these recipes to cook up dishes that are just right for you and serve your family and friends to enjoy the best of health.
New recipes will be added regularly to AyurvedaEasyTransformation.com
extending the range of recipes in this new book.
