Today is Cameron’s birthday and it starts off as the best day ever! Little did Cameron know, that today would end up being a roller-coaster ride of ups and downs. Join Cameron on their little birthday-adventure as they try to be independent from their mum, encounter challenges, and discover what it means to be just a little bit older.

If you haven’t noticed yet, Cameron doesn’t use the pronouns he or she. Instead, Cameron wants their family and friends to call them by they or them.

You see, all around you, there are people who are boys, and people who are girls. But there are also people, just like Cameron, who don’t feel that they are a girl or a boy. It doesn’t make them any different for you or your family. Instead, just like you, it makes them happy to express and be loved for who they are inside.
