About the Author

Tony H Leather Hard to believe that a decade has passed since, on November 2nd, 2012, I finally wrote and published my first novella – a 30,000 word story, and the only one of such length that I ever penned. Naturally, I am happy to report that many people have read and apparently enjoyed it. Further to this, on November 6th, I published my first volume of poetry – entitled All Kinds of Provocation – which is a 30 poem collection.

I had, at that time been writing for several years and had in excess of 2000 items of written work published, both in print and on line around the world. I did try to write everything from poetry to short fiction in various genres, as well as many works of non-fiction, but had not been active as a writer for several years. Happily, three of my eight e-books have received 5-star ratings from reviewers.

My publishing credits include many different magazines in many countries, and I published my first e-book – a collection of short stories getting rave reviews entitled Dancing with the devil and other twisted tales – on amazon kindle in September 2011. This was followed in December 2011 by my second e-book a science-fiction short story anthology entitled Eternity and more – the fulfilment of a lifetime ambition. In March 2012 – having won a short-story competition run by US artist/writer Erin Miller – I co-authored, with her, a 20 story anthology entitled We Aim To Please.

I have reached 71 years of age and am once again feeling that itch that all writers know well – the urge to once again get creative. With that in mind I have now published ’71 and Counting’ – a mixture of auto-biographical anecdotes, short stories, poems and non-fiction pieces to delight and entertain the reader. Another collection of short stories is in the final stages of being prepared for publication soon, so do look out for it.

Every one of my books on Kindle – bar the poetry volume – can now be obtained in paperback form and I hope lots of you elect to add them to your bookcases!
