About the Author

Kamy Chetty was born in South Africa. As a child she amused herself with her nose stuck in a book, and it wasn’t long before she went from reading stories to writing them. With a love for anything from fairy tales, folk lore, and Greek mythology, she would often stare at the mountains looking for sprites and fairies. English was her favorite subject, and she’d recite Shakespeare and Browning because, why not.

She moved to New Zealand with her family and followed her dreams soaking up as much knowledge as she could about the writing world. The day she became a finalist in her first contest was the day she realized people wanted to read her stories. But life never always works out the way you planned. Due to personal reasons, she stepped back from writing for a few years. In that time, she moved to Australia and worked in the Outback. After doing some awesome things like driving from one end of Queensland to the other. Alone. She has now settled down with her two camp dogs and is working on her craft, and learning new things. Hopefully you join her on this journey.
