As his wife turns up in Sipsey, Sugarfoot is in Jemison Beach, Florida, pursuing wealthy Clarice Vanderway. Freddie Dee Varner is trying to wedge her way into his life by tearing him down in order to build him. But when he returns to Sipsey, all hell breaks loose.
The scandal that arises from his deception causes the deacons to consider kicking him out of the church, and Clarice Vanderway never wants to see him again. Only Freddie Dee still carries a torch for him and she want him back at all cost.
“Sugarfoot is a man of questionable character and moral value. This is the third in the series and he has discovered his wife is back and his current lover found out about the wife also. His character becomes even more suspect when you find out he is also pursuing another woman. The moral issues of some characters may offend some readers but there are some good quality characters that are very enjoyable to follow. I found this book to be a fun yet twisting story of life and the pursuit of one man’s love. I recommend this one to all the romance fans.”
