“[If] you simply wish to discover a deeper and more exciting way to connect with the world around you, you will learn a lot from their detailed recommendations and stories about embarking on a trip with marijuana. Humor and Inspiration from a Certified Public Pothead
Most people go through life worrying about silly things: careers, mortgages, family strife, the size of their biceps, how many Instagram followers they have, and most importantly, fantasy football. What if there was a way to get more out of life through deeper and more meaningful connections with those you care the most about? Some people turn to religion or meditation for these connections; I turned to my one true friend, cannabis.
The book summarizes my experiences with cannabis, the interesting connections I have made, the benefits to me from making these connections, what I think is happening that allows me to make these connections, and some other random and (hopefully) funny observations I have written down while high.
I hope you enjoy the trip as much as I did.
Higher Connections: Humor and Inspiration from a Certified Public Pothead by Eric Right and Alexandra Right is classified as a spiritual self-help type of book. The book is written by two parents who write about their own personal experience with using marijuana to get through the typical challenges and stresses of life. It is a very light hearted book and has quite some humor in it as well. The authors share their positive experience with it. I think even if you are not someone who uses marijuana you could enjoy reading this book. At least, for me, I found this entertaining despite not being able to relate entirely with their experiences. -Amazon Vine Voice Review
This is the often humorous observations of a marijuana user about pot and life. Included are intelligent meditations on such serious subjects as paranormal phenomenon, the concept, nature vs nurture, what happens when you die, soulmates, life as a simulation, a higher intelligence, and climate control. Well worth readin whether you are a marijuana user or not. -Amazon Review
An easy read that could only be composed by a marijuana user. For non-tokers, it’s a light exploration of the places THC and marijuana can take your mind, expressed as internal monologue and moments of unique external connection. For marijuana users, it will probably resonate as something you’ve experienced and you may connect with the stories and theories. Throw in some sarcasm and old comedy or music references and it’s a nice easy read that may lead you towards thinking about your own experiences while high. -Amazon Review
From the Author
This book was a very interesting experience for Alexandra and I to work through, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. While I was initially hesitant to try marijuana, the experience has been life changing for both myself and my relationship with Alexandra.
I know a lot of people are hesitant to try marijuana due to previous misconceptions or stereotypes they have heard about the plant, but hopefully after reading my book, people will be more open to at least trying it out.
