This book is very well researched, and I really got a kick out of the quotes about squats. I agree that, especially as we get older, squats have so many variations, and they really do help maintain so many important aspects of mobility. Squats are also a great way to get your heart rate up with low impact – those big leg muscles have a huge effect on heart rate, so they’re strength..but also cardio.
