This is a self improvement book. The goal of this book is to help you, the reader, learn and obtain knowledge on how to prevent poor decision making, and eliminate mistakes. The fact is that most of us learn from the past when it is too late.
The goal of preventive management is to evaluate possible outcomes and plan to prevent bad outcomes. The key is to be successful with our lives and not have to say, “If only I knew, I would have done things differently.”
About the Author
Hello, my name is Paul Christy I am retired and live in Bluffton S.C I am married and have two boys and six grandchildren. I enjoy golf, walking and exercising. I have both bachelor and master’s degrees in Organizational Management. I worked for a great company for 32 years, 28 of which I was in management. While there, I learned a lot of management skills. I retired 15 years ago, and I started teaching for an online university in 2010. I have the privilege of teaching business and management courses for this university. I really enjoy teaching and helping students get the education they normally would not be able to obtain because of their work schedule and family activities. I am also happy to be helping our military students obtain a good education and graduate with the degree they pursued.
Now, let me tell you why I wrote this book.
I wrote this book to help people in our society learn preventive management and the power it has on many aspects of our life.
I believe many of us would like to change decisions and mistakes we made in life. I know that my life would be much better today if I had the opportunity to go back to the many events that had a negative impact, such as finances, purchases, education, family, retirement, medical conditions, my job, management skills, and opportunity. All these topics are covered in chapters of the book. The problem is, it’s too late now, and I had to learn from my mistakes and poor decision making.
