I Married a Robot
Some people are born for each other. Others are made…
In a not-so-distant future, robots are a normal and everyday part of people’s lives – though few are ever seen as individuals. But for Susan and her companion robot Joy, their bond is unlike anything they’ve ever experienced before. Joy longs to feel as much as she can – and when she’s with Susan, her circuits light up.
But society doesn’t feel the same way. Ridiculed and ostracized by her peers for her attraction, Susan faces a seemingly impossible battle as she fights for their right to marry. As the date of their wedding approaches, Susan and Joy face a barrage of hate mail and cyberattacks aimed at destroying their bond and forcing them to quit.
And when Joy’s old boss kidnaps her and executes a plan intended to ruin their love for good, Susan is forced into a desperate race against time to rescue Joy before it’s too late…
If you like thought-provoking speculative fiction with a dash of romance and an underlying theme of civil rights and the boundless nature of love, then you won’t want to miss I Married a Robot.
