A novella, written well by a new author. The subject matter is challenging and the writing shows promise. I wanted to know more about the back story to some of the secondary characters who were introduced then quickly whisked away. This suggests to me that there is more to come from the author and potentially a longer book. I look forward to reading more. – Jacko the Monkey
If I Could Wish is a short existential story covering mental health degradation and suicide. The last note of suicidal teenager detailing their life and why they are ending it. Peer into the downfalls of the human condition and the gloom that follows you. Ponder the bigger picture, ask the questions of purpose, learn from the life of despair. Read it, then read it again, and again.

About the Author
I am Owen Carrol, a Scottish teenage author who focuses on the morality of certain mental health subjects; particularly suicide at the moment. I have a background in politics, being the youngest chairman of my branch sector within the party. This background in politics has left me seeing the injustices of the systems and methods of humanity, and now I want to explore the subjects that intrigue me. My writing style is tailored towards writing miseries, books that will make you feel a bit upset but for the right reasons. So please, do join me on this multifaceted path: for only critical thought and questions lay ahead.
