I very much enjoyed the book. It has a Harry Potter feeling but it’s also its own book. A great read for people who love fantasy, sci-fy. – Amazon Review
Joy Hartmann and the Spectral Blast:
A Wizard’s Apprentice
Leaving his stormy past immersed in books behind, Elphyas Levi lived a quiet life in a coastal village in northern France. As a member of the Golden Circle, his highest priority was to avoid the return of the Spectral King, a dark wizard who, according to legend, will resurrect to plunge the world into the most terrible darkness.
All changed with the arrival of the special assignment from the Chancellor of the Magic University, Nicolas Flamel: a girl named Joy Hartmann from North America who had lost her mother. His friend and mentor asked him to take her as his apprentice, revealing in a scroll Joy’s family secret which left Elphyas speechless.
Over the years, the Great Wizard noticed that little Joy hid inside her more than an incredible secret, something bigger that would drastically change the magic world.
