Best read I have had in a long time. Book may be classified as science fiction but it has some thing for everyone, that includes every generation. It was a constant page turner that I could not put down once I started. I believe it will become a block buster film and well worth taking the time now to read it. Very timely. – Amazon Review
LOOP:
A Pulse-Pounding Novel of Science-Fiction Horror
WTF is LOOP?
LOOP is sci-fi horror that grabs the reader in its monstrous bloody hands and never lets go!
A dystopian techno-thriller inspired by real-world advances in facial recognition, machine learning and artificial intelligence, along with the apocalypse of a zombie-like plague, rampant conspiracies of genetic engineering and equally dangerous viral media, readers are calling Award-Winning Film Director Kely McClung’s LOOP “prescient, brutal, and effortlessly cool… a chilling omen of the world at our doorstep.
“A tour de force… Violence and carnage are terrifying and starkly realistic… I wouldn’t change a f*cking syllable.” Ben Clement — “Giants On My Shoulders”
“…a relentless, terrifying sci-fi thriller with visceral intensity that invades the psyche and never lets go.” Debbie Lynn Elias — “Behind The Lens”
MAN’S MOST TERRIFYING MONSTERS WILL BE BORN ON THE INTERNET
When a new social media app powered by AI and stolen military technology begins remapping human DNA, the world explodes with conspiracies, viral media, and deadly consequences!
After a small college town becomes ground zero for a zombie-like plague, the fate of the town, and maybe the world, lies in the hands of a one-legged badass, a nearly naked Interpol agent, a waif-like retro-gaming genius, and the military scientist that started it all!
With a deadly cover-up set in motion by secret congressional committees, an elusive billionaire, and a sociopathic colonel, the town of Mazeville, already battered by a relentless winter storm, begins tearing itself apart from the inside out.
Battling LOOPERS and the INFECTED for every step above and below ground in the extensive underground labyrinths of Mazeville, our mis-fit heroes, loners all, must come together if the town, and the world, is to have any chance at all.
LOOP, filled with humans turned monsters and monstrous humans, is “part sci-fi/horror yarn, part zombie/pandemic/survival epic” and unrelenting in “action, terror, and pure imagination.”
“Kely McClung displays a unique talent for violence — words race across the page and seduce the reader with the most overwhelming odds and outrageous situations, and lets us experience the doubts, fears, and the triumphs as our own.” Ricky Baker — “Eastern Heroes”
