I really enjoyed the content though extremely sad in places, it is a ‘warts and all’ book. Subjects are thought-provoking and the author is very brave to reveal his life experiences – a decision which must have been a difficult one and a risk. It’s been a cathartic journey and hopefully healing will be the result for Ashley Stone. We can all relate to certain aspects in the writing and feel their pain. Thank you for sharing. I would highly recommend purchasing this lovely book and the Poetry and Artwork included at the end is something of beauty and a pleasure to look at again and again. – Amazon Review
Mowendi: My Journey Finding God
Not all books make claim to truthful content but one such as this, does. Funny in places, this is a ‘warts and all’ story that leads to unexpected outcomes.
The subjects spoken of are thought provoking and the author is very brave to reveal so much of his life. The artwork and poetry are amazing, complimenting a truly sad in places, book. He takes you on a journey of the mind and spirit, every obstacle, every lesson, all secrets that most would rather keep that way. I have been mesmerised and compelled by the content, leaving me wanting to know more. I believe this story is developing, there is so much more waiting to be discovered about the author, only time will tell.
You will not be disappointed buying this ‘short to read’ book, especially knowing that another one is in the works, amazing!
Author: “This book is a record of events which led to a change in the way I live my life. It is a deeply personal and spiritual biography, explaining in detail the journey I have taken through life. It contains artwork and poetry too, which I did during my psychedelic experiences of the 1990’s. Friends and family saw me as one of their own, but this changed as soon as I began to question their motives. In my early twenties, I realised that I was part of a group of individuals with their own spiritual interests and agenda”.
