About the Author
Fanica Rarinca is a Romanian children’s book writer. The plot of Patronel and Soriela was born out of a nightmare she had one dark and stormy night. She dreamed of a man named Patronel, who owned a glass factory, and was being sabotaged by his three advisers. In the dream, she was the character Soriela, and she failed to save him. When Fanica woke up from this nightmare, she was determined to change the ending of the story, so she wrote down her dream and continued to revise the plot, to give Patronel the story he deserved.
