Solving Algebraic Equations in Quadratic Form
The quadratic equation which is introduced in Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 can help Math students solve mathematics equations beyond the quadratic equation.
Students were introduced to solving quadratic equations using three methods:
- A. Solve by Factoring
- B. Solve by the Quadratic Formula
- C. Solve by Completing the Square
Note: The Workbook contains solving for quadratic equations and solving for equations in quadratic form.
About the Author
Don Sabado is a high school Math Teacher with 23 years of teaching experience in the field of Mathematics. After college, he worked in the private sector doing numerous jobs. He also worked for a temporary agency working full and part time. At the same time, he worked part time as a Math tutor. After several years of working in the private sector, he returned to school to receive his license credentials to teach at the public schools.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He also received a Master of Education degree at Chaminade University of Honolulu. He has taught courses in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Precalculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC.
In 2012, he opened a private tutoring company that focused on tutoring for students in 7th grade through college level students. However, in 2020 after the lockdown occurred because of the pandemic, he permanently closed his tutoring business. At the same time, in July 2019, he started writing for Teachers Pay Teachers. He enjoys writing mathematics problems and creating material to be used in the classroom.
On his free time, he likes to read fiction novels; He also enjoys running or just relaxing. One of his other goals is to eventually write a non-Math book and write fiction novels.
