About the Author
Minhaj Uddin is a lecturer in a nursing college. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Medicine (Major in Nursing) from Bahria University Islamabad and also completed Masters in Health Economics and Management from Quaid-I-Azam University Islamabad. He worked in one of the best international humanitarian organization (awarded Nobel Peace Prize in 1999) (Médecins Sans Frontières ) as a registered nurse in emergency room and dealt with thousands of patients with anxiety, panic attack, depressed and attempted suicide. He has also observed and experienced life and death very closely during dealing with patients like new born babies, that are springing forth new life, as well as terminally old patients doing the opposite.
In his early thirties, he suffered from depression and overcome this depression episodes by developing new insights by reading spiritual books and from life experiences. His favorite author is Eckhart Tolle and his favorite book is The Power of Now.
Minhaj is currently living in Swat valley, the northern area of Pakistan.
