This is a great story that includes a bit of history as we see the main character Emma go through charm school. We see her arrival, meeting with other young ladies, and some of her trials as she learns what it takes to be a lady. We watch her as she longs for a lost love, breaks an engagement and eventually marries a decent man. This does have a happy ending. – Amazon Review
“Six young ladies and a ball. The Coming Out ball where they can become princesses for an evening, and the charm school where they prepare for their big opportunity.
A story about a seventeen-year-old girl, Emma Derkin, and five other young ladies. They all want the same thing – to find the perfect mate. It takes place a long time ago in the Victorian Era, when every girl grew up as a real lady.
Includes a happily ever after. This story is for the old soul who enjoys history mixed with our never ending search for happiness and something other than what’s in front of us. And even in the end things always work out for the best. -Amazon Review
