In 2120, telepaths roam the streets spotting crimes before they happen, but the rest of the world hates them and wants their thoughts to remain private. Julie’s days are filled with telepathically interrogating endless pre-criminals from behind the safe walls of Cerebrum, but when a famous scientist is murdered in his own home, she is partnered with detective Kang, a man who hates her kind.
In order to identify the culprit Julie must fight against a partner hell bent on seeing her fail and a city who wants her dead, to stop a killer before they strike again with something far worse than she could ever have expected.
About the Author
Scott Kim was born in London, UK, and majored Film Production at University. After working as an editor for a year, he decided that this was not for him and fled to South Korea. After finishing his Masters in TESOL, his love of storytelling was rekindled but this time he decided to focus on the literary aspects of storytelling, rather than the side that destroyed his health and mind.
During this time, he has had numerous flash fiction stories published on fiction websites, and was accepted into the L. Ron Hubbard’s Writers of the Future Contest. His biggest influences are Phillip K. Dick, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Issac Asimov, and Stephen King.
