Story Reviews:
The Sailor and the Dolphin
It’s a great short story with a lot of action bits in between! I like how the story of The Sailor and the Dolphin immediately grips your attention to everything that happens on sea and then at the same time settles down with how he finds his way back and reports the shipwreck of his crew. Overall an interesting story to read and enjoyed it! –Armand C
Together
Together to me is an excellent short story because of the fact that there is so much emotion involved and it really made me nervous as I was reading to know how the story would go and just as the other books what I loved was the detail! but the feeling you get while reading the title was lovely because you feel almost part of the short story and that stands out for me which I think makes it brilliant! -Armand C
Evergreens
Evergreens was a good short story of a haunted house due to the detail in the story and the way the story builds up to grab you into it even more! What stood out in this story was how a story was being told in a story and it was lovely to come alive as you imagine these scenes happen all the way up to the end where she runs home! -Armand C
Mfengu’s Hero’s
Yeeeha! I really enjoyed this story and appreciate the sentiment behind it i.e. history being treated with respect. There is also an immediate identity of Alex, both physically and personally, with wonderful opening and a great ending, leaving the reader with a question, it ends on a note of possible future intrigue. -Theresa P
