Are you feeling physically drained and tired of all the stuff that seems to have accumulated around you over time and is threatening your very existence?
Are you tired of spending most of your spare time tidying and dusting, and clearing away?
Whenever someone announces that they’re dropping by for a quick visit do you need to put them off for an hour or so while you arrange for things to be hidden away out of sight because you’re just too embarrassed by the way your home looks?
If you have answered ‘yes’ to any of the above questions then you’ve probably been drawn toward this book for a very good reason. I’m going to take you on a journey where you can possibly even use a checklist to mark each of the characteristics that we will go through and discuss if you are possibly a habitual hoarder or maybe you believe in retail therapy.

About the Author
I’m EK Larocque, a Mom, a wife, an accountant and an author. It’s a lot of juggling but so worth it. I love to be able to use different parts of my brain, to be creative and also pragmatic.
Being a mom to a little girl, there are so many things that I need to teach her. In order to teach her, I need to embody those things, which is a constant reality check and requires constantly working on oneself. It’s not easy, trust me, however I’m hoping it’ll be worth it. It’s not about being perfect, on the contrary, I think it’s so important for her to see that mommy isn’t perfect and in fact, fails often. It’s about how you get back up, it’s about accepting that maybe today we did our best and failed, maybe tomorrow we won’t.
My books are often about trying to better ourselves, but also showing ourselves some compassion. We should be as compassionate towards ourselves as we would to a friend, which I find is rarely the case. When we can be kind to ourselves, is really when we can instinctively be kind to others and therefore make the world a kinder, better place.
