I am at a loss as to how to accurately describe how well-written and gripping this book is. Some will tell you, science fiction and spirituality can’t be mixed. Perlin definitely shows you otherwise. If I could give ten stars I would. It’s THAT good. -Amazon Reader
“The Dark of The Grey is the book that reads like a movie in your mind. It’s an epic journey across time and space, with little time to breathe between the pages which seem to turn themselves.”
Description: Nate was a computer programmer living on a small island just north of Seattle. He enjoyed a quiet and uncomplicated existence away from all the big city’s chaos and trouble, just how he liked it. But something was terribly wrong. This revelation sets Nate on a one-way path across the U.S. in an effort to find his father and solve the mystery of who and what he is.
About the Author
G. E. Perlin is an author, graphic designer and musician who lives in southern, CA with his wife and two Ragdoll cats. G.E. began writing at an early age when his grandfather’s untimely death inspired him to write poetry. For years, G.E. continued to hone his poetic voice but always felt the pull to write novels. When G.E. moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2015, he was so inspired by the intense geographical setting that he penned his first novel, The Dark of The Grey.
“The idea came on a hike one day. It was a beautiful trail on Tiger Mountain (Washington), and I took a picture of a particularly inspiring view. Upon viewing the photo later, a vision hit me, complete with a story-line and leading character. The picture on the cover of ‘Part One: The Awareness’ was that very photo–only I transformed it into a nightscape to give it an eerie quality. The story came fast and I felt alive while writing it. Ideas have been springing forth and the list of books I want to write has grown immensely.”
