The Family Applecart:
One ordinary family, one toxic in-law,
one hell of a narcissistic rage
The Family Applecart
There’s one in almost every family. The toxic member who would rather divide their own relatives as opposed to seeing them all united. Their divisive behavior can influence the naive members of the family and drive the enlightened ones into a blind rage.
Angie, a manipulative woman, tricks her man into a long term relationship by getting herself pregnant. As if that were not bad enough, Angie likes to engage in dark slander and divisive trickery, instigating arguments amongst those she should hold dear.
Michael, the patriarch of the family, has the power of wisdom, humor and deep emotional intelligence. He is the antidote to Angie’s malevolence and educates his family against her ways to thwart Angie’s attempts at sowing discord. When a fatal illness snatches Michael away from his loved ones, Angie takes advantage of the opportunity and begins to feast upon the tragedy.
Using her talents for destruction, Angie will blaze a trail of emotional pain spanning decades, pushing some family members beyond their self restraint and ending in utter catastrophe for others.
With Michael gone, in the face of their biggest loss, how will the family remain united?
