About the Author
G. Rochelle, I always loved “different ” out of the ordinary, kind of different.
Escaping to make up stories and jotting down my thoughts was part of me as long as I could remember.
In camp I once told a story of enchanted and talking trees with tunnels and forests full of unknown creatures, (that was waaayyyyy before the amazing Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and such.) Guess what???? I got laughed out of the bunk…In High School I was “weird” and I always thought something was wrong with that…with being different or labeled “weird”
Many years later, I put myself out there. Publishing written work is like putting a huge piece of yourself for everyone to disect. When I wrote my first novel “The Last Ortor” I realized (as so many told me) it doesn’t fit a certain “nitch market” or target certain audience as a book should do, to sell. And that’s because it’s different. Like me, like my thought process. And I love it the way it is. ?Don’t be afraid of different. Different may be surprisingly good and exciting.
“The Last Ortor” is genre blending paranormal romance, with some heat and mystery. The reader has to clue things together, and in the end it’s all revealed. A second book is in the making to complete “The Last Ortor” series.
I am planning to release many other books…at this point not knowing where the mind will take me, but I know it will be somewhere interesting. I don’t care to be labeled “different ” or “weird ” or “not fitting to market for SALES”
I’m actually excited to write to tell a story. And if readers enjoy it, and pass it along that will be super.
