About The Author:
Bob Anderson is a retired Seattle native with a background in computer programming, carpentry, and business. Bob started writing in college but freely admits that life often got in the way of completing his work. After he made multiple attempts to write a book and discarded all of them, he finally published his first book, Woe Man, in 2015. Woe Man is a gender-bending science fiction thriller that delves into risks and promises of Artificial Intelligence. Bob tells us he spent years writing and rewriting the book and often got frustrated when new technology kept outpacing his work.
Over the past few years, Bob has filled his days working on his murder mystery series: 55 Plus or Minus. The series currently includes four books: You Don’t Know Jack (Book 1), Hidden Treasure (Book 2), March Madness (Book 3), and Tunnel Vision (Book 4). The books take place in the anything-but-sleepy 55-plus retirement community of Vintner’s Reserve—an upscale neighborhood in the small central Washington city of Yakima. The stories revolve around retired-detective and part-time handyman Jack McConner and his closest friends—a group he fondly calls the Burger Bunch. Bob admits the characters now feel so real to him that he often wishes he could move into Vintner’s Reserve and be part of the gang.
