The Price Of Honour: Based On A True Story
Love’s Trials and Triumphs: Exploring Resilience and the Human Experience.
Anisoara Laura Mustetiu’s book, “The Price of Honour,” is a poignant narrative set in the Sânzâiene’s Valley, a fairy tale-like place in Romania. It tells the story of Mariuca, a young girl with a strong life philosophy rooted in her family’s values. The book is a vivid portrayal of Romanian village life, traditions, and the intimate connection between people and nature. As Mariuca faces the challenges of love and societal judgment, the story delves into themes of honour, dignity, and the harsh realities of life. It is a confessional tale that interweaves personal and collective experiences, offering a rich tapestry of emotional depth and cultural significance.

”This time, dear readers, I find myself in front of an exceptional book. The book represents the story of Mariuca, whom we already know from the first chapter, a young girl, a delicate being, but who has proven over time to be a mountain of dignity, whose personality is defined throughout the book. A book that you can read easily, and once you start reading, you can’t stop, because you can’t. You enter the lives of the characters, you live with them, wiping each other’s tears, filled with truth, from your faces.”
With sincere admiration for the author,
