The Rattler is a terrific, if somewhat gruesome, pirate adventure. If you like your adventure stories sprinkled with a bit o’ gore then this is the book for you. Young Sam had no idea what was in store for him when he was captured by pirates. Even though he does eventually make friends amongst them, the cruelty and evil of the majority of the crew nearly puts and end to him on many occasions. There were some parts of the story that were hard to believe, but over all a good read. But not for the squeamish. – Amazon Review

About the Author
Ryan Berridge is a horror and adventure writer. His first foray into writing was a series of short stories, put together in the compilation “Where Were You? Ten Terrifying Tales”. The series being a collection of short stories set at various points of a global pandemic, turning people from humans into something different.
He is currently working on “The Rattler: A Pirate Adventure” series which explores the much darker themes in the pirate world. Currently two books in the series, the opening “The Rattler” and 2022’s “Snake Huntress” with one final book in the works to complete the trilogy.
