The Redcap had me hooked from the first page. It’s suspenseful, atmospheric, and great fun! The characters are all easy to keep track of, and it gives off locked room mystery vibes at times.
A word of advice to those planning to start The Redcap: don’t begin the book at ten at night, and be sure to put your copy somewhere physically unreachable if you want to get any work done. Because you will not be able to put it down. -Amazon Review

As they investigate, they meet the inscrutable thief Charlotte Whitney, who has a secret just as checkered as her profession. With her reluctant help, the team learns that there is more to the murder than they initially expect, which leads them to William ‘The Redcap’ Finn.A
Redcap: a thieving, malevolent, savage creature that finds pleasure in brutally murdering its victims and claiming blood as its trophy. Sam and his faithful team will face off against the notorious gangster that lives up to his colorful moniker in this second Sam McKay thriller by K.M. Hardy.
This book is so fantastic I ate this up in a couple of days, finding every opportunity to read that I could… K.M Hardy certainly has a talent for dragging you into her stories and having them take you over until you find out just what the hell is going on. I had many theories as to what was going on and all of them were wrong. -Amazon Review
