The Responsibility of Freedom:
The Days That Try Men’s Souls
Freedom is not a gift. It is not a right or a privilege. It is a responsibility that has been passed down to us by those who have fought and died to insure it and it is our responsibility to pass it down to the next generation.
When one man’s greed and ambition causes the US economy to collapse, society begins to crumble and the American dream becomes an American nightmare. Wyatt and his best friend Tyler find themselves in this apocalyptic world that is ruled by anarchy and fear. Food becomes scarce, community bonds become frayed and violence becomes the norm.
Together with their friends and family, they must survive this new world and must eventually ask themselves whether freedom is worth the price they must pay to have it. Will they be willing to accept the responsibility of freedom?
About the Author
Paul Miller, First, I want to thank everyone that has visited this page and has read my work. Writing is a newfound passion of mine that I discovered this summer (2020). Writing has given me a conduit for my creative side and whether I can make a living off of writing or not, I plan to continue following this passion.
If you have read my new book (Responsibility of Freedom; The Days that Try Men’s Souls) and you have feedback or questions, please contact me via the email on the copyright page of the book, I will be happy to answer any questions I can.
A little about me: I was born in 1988 in Brunswick County North Carolina and raised along the coast of South Carolina in Myrtle Beach and Georgetown. Currently I live in Taylorsville North Carolina, about 20 minutes from the location in the book. Like the protagonist in the book, Wyatt, I have lived all over North and South Carolina but I have found a home in the Hickory area. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends, camping and fishing.
Currently I am writing the sequel to The Responsibility of Freedom, I hope to have it published by November 2020. I hope that you have enjoyed reading my book and will continue to read my further works as they are released. Also please review the book, the reviews help authors immensely in this competitive market.
