Inspired by mental battles endured throughout life, the author devotes her pen to internal & external growth. About the Author
Jenna Blasman is a former Team Canada athlete, student, and author. She grew up in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Influenced by her older siblings, she begun skateboarding and snowboarding for leisure. After the passing of her mom, at age 12, she bound herself to the sport of slope style snowboarding. Encouraged by her first sponsor, Blasman begun to compete in local competitions at age thirteen. At nineteen, she became one of the first female slope style snowboarders to represent Canada at the 2014 Olympic Games.
As a self reflective practice, Blasman kept a journal during her travels. While including her competitive experiences, her focus remains on healing the subconscious mind. She includes topics on trauma, autonomy, societal, and environmental awareness. She’s devoted herself to sharing her experiences for the purpose of mental health awareness and holistic healing.
