I’m really glad I was able to find this book. It’s a book that I wish I had when I was kid because I had no idea how to manage money until I was in high school. With everything going on in the world right now and having to home school my son it’s definitely nice to have different options to help him learn.
When was the last time your kid was asking for a toy, favorite video game, or maybe something else that he or she enjoys a lot?
What if there was a book that taught the kid‘s how they can learn to buy the toy themselves, and also begin to learn about finance basics?
Tyler and Jean‘s Lemonade Stand Adventure is an engaging story about two kids who wanted to purchase their favorite video game; they did, but also learned….
- Financial Education
- Confidence and Self-Esteem
- Responsibility of Actions
- Courage to Make Their Own Choices
- And even more…
This book is about Financial Literacy not commonly taught in school that one day may help them to achieve their dreams, learn different values, and help others.
Tyler and Jean are the best of friends. One day they come across a new video game they‘d love to have. The kids brainstorm on how they can earn enough money to buy their game. With Uncle Stevie‘s help the kids build their first balance sheet in preparation to start their first lemonade stand!
Through engaging illustrations and simple conversation, the kids learn a new skill before becoming entrepreneurs.
Why should I buy this book?
-From my personal and professional experience, financial literacy should be prioritized as early as grade school. This book aims to leverage the power of story and a fun, simple approach to introduce a concept to children that can serve them well into adulthood.
It is imperative that we all do our best to prepare future generations with a solid financial foundation. This will help enable them to chase their dreams.
Now it is your turn to take action and give a child this opportunity.
