This was a fascinating book with a great story-line and well-developed characters. Steven J. Harris leaves you wanting more, much more. “Untamed” was extraordinarily entertaining and I enjoyed a few surprises, exhilarating action scenes, and plot twists as well. I would recommend this book to any fantasy/YA fantasy lover. There is so much here and more to build on. -Amazon Review
This gripping tale follows the life of a young woman named Iva Hill. Due to many ongoing health conditions, she has lived a life of hopelessness. Everything changes when a powerful black lion saves her from certain death.
This book is filled with enough fantasy, romance, crime, drama, suspense, and horror to keep you turning each page. Some are calling it “The best fantasy book by an indie author”. Strap in and prepare to be taken on one crazy ride!
“Untamed” by Steven Jeral Harris is a new adult fantasy in which a young disabled woman’s life changes dramatically when she finds and opens a curious antique box. The author is excellent at pacing and the story immediately grabs your attention and keeps you reading. The characters are interesting and well thought out, and the plot is filled with suspense.
I enjoyed reading this first book by the author. There are a lot of twists and paranormal intrigue and adventure. Iva makes you want to keep turning the pages, which was great for a change. A few books I’ve read lately I had to push my self to finish. This one I hit hard in a day and loved it! Even though the book is complete and all loose ends were tied up, I have to say that I want to read a little more. Great job
Unique, intriguing, twisted, mysterious, unpredictable paranormal adventure is the best way for me to describe this book. I have not EVER read anything close to this. Reading has almost become predicable with most of the books that I read. Not this one. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and I didn’t see the twists coming. The book is fast paced and made sense as it progressed. The loose ends get tied up neatly by the end so it leaves very little questions. However the ending both leaves you wanting more but at the same time had a logical breaking point.
