An incredibly clear book on how to live a good and happy life. Not preachy and not in the line of self-help, I would recommend this book to anyone. A great high-school or college grad gift, and insightful to even the highest functioning and highest achieving? individuals.
Getting down to brass tacks, this is a simple, commonsensical approach on how to be happy. Provides practical points on how to live dozens of human virtues. Explains how each virtue paves the path for happiness and in conquering the vicissitudes of everyday life.
This is a self-help guide, packed with practical philosophy and experience mixed into one to give you: “Virtues to Happiness”. If you want to be happy, be virtuous; if you want to be very happy, be very virtuous!
