About the Author
Thank you for reading my author page. My name is Ann D. Ukrainetz, and I am the author of
“Who I was born to be!! The Saga of a Lady Who is Internationally Regarded as Princess Diana’s American Aunt.” This recently released early 2020 memoir chronicles my 1999 discovery of my well documented and validated close blood relationship to high ranking members of the British Royal family, including Lady Diana Spencer, Frances Shand Kydd, Princes William and Harry, the present 6th Baron Patrick Fermoy and Earl Charles Spencer. Since my birth in King’s Lynn, England in 1943, my mother had kept this secret from me, only leaving for me a confession letter penned prior to her death in Canada. My passion is to share my unique experience with readers from all over the world in order to enlighten and inspire them as to the plight of “Love Children”, both common and Royal.
As a parent, grandparent and teacher, I am also the author of the Mischievous Mitzi children’s book series. Each Mischievous Mitzi book is fun and teaches special old English values and manners with easy to read text and colorful illustrations. The values taught are crucial and serve as anchors that today’s youngsters so desperately need to acquire during their growing or formative years. These self esteem building values are simple to understand by children as young as four and will also be enjoyed by youngsters as old as ten. My Mitzi books are filled with “teachable moments” and make for great bedtime reading and kids “asking for more”….
