I absolutely LOVED this book! I normally find myself a little turned off by books that don’t build out the characters little pretty early on but J. Treacy Cole was masterful at getting my attention immediately in this book. There were so many twists and turns that were completely unexpected… I couldn’t stop reading it and read the entire thing in about 2 hours. So glad to see this is book 1 in the series and can’t wait to read more!! -Amazon Review
Wiccan Child
(Robin Winter’s Tales Book 1)
A chilling session with a Ouija board unearths Robin Winter’s long-buried psychic gifts.
When twelve-year-old Robin receives a pink Ouija board as a gag gift, a forgotten memory is revealed–the shocking damage she suffered at the hands of neighborhood bullies. At only six years old, she could see into the lives of others and speak their secrets aloud. She didn’t understand the lengths people would go to in order to keep their sins hidden.
Now an apprentice to Celia, a charismatic storefront psychic, Robin learns the ways of the Old Religion–spells, herbs, and incantations. As her mind opens to the craft, people in the town grow suspicious. A strange, old man follows her. A local cult leader and radio show host uses his platform to condemn the occult. Darkness is rising. Is she powerful enough to keep her friends and family safe?
A coming-of-age story with a tinge of the paranormal, Wiccan Child is a treat young adult readers will devour with relish. — Pikasho Deka for Readers’ Favorite
