About the Author
Camille Rogers-Jones is a successful motivational writer and speaker who has, in truth, been motivating people she meets all her life – be it at work or in herpersonal life. The recipient of numerous Excellence in Teaching awards across her extensive 25-year teaching career, Camille also coached winning national sporting and dance eisteddfod teams and led several curriculum initiatives to re-engage disengaged students. Subsequently, her behaviour management expertise with “at risk” kids became highly sought after.
Passionate about helping young people, Camille and her retired police officer husband have helped raise 25 children, many of whom have gone onto successful careers in fields such as medicine, architecture, international banking, fashion design, entrepreneurship, teaching, aeronautical engineering, and television.
Camille has regularly given presentations as a keynote speaker at educational conferences about the importance of arts and literacy education. Her genuine passion to mentor others shines through in her authentic, often humorous and ‘tell it like it is” style. She is a regular writer for You Can Too Motivation.
Camille also ran her own catering business – mostly at music festivals where she met and cooked for many hungry musicians. Famous faces were regular around the home when artists on tour who were craving a home-cooked meal would drop by to dine, followed by a game of Pictionary.
Yet, she firmly believes, that the most joyous times spent sharing meals have been with her large family. Since retiring from teaching and catering, Camille has transitioned to motivational writing and speaking.
In her spare time Camille and her husband travel around the world visiting the beautiful children whose lives they have shared, or can often be found at their local beach with their fur children – two cheeky dogs!
