“This is one of those rare books that stays with you after you’ve finished reading. The mystery surrounding Silana had me hooked from the beginning, and every chapter seemed to reveal just enough information to make me want to keep going. The writing is thoughtful, the characters are believable, and the emotional moments feel genuine. An excellent start to what looks like a very ambitious series.” – Amazon Review
The Emissary:
The Selanian Chronicles:
Volume 1
Two timelines. Two worlds. One unfolding mystery.
In the summer of 1982, Philip Brannon’s life changes in an instant when he nearly runs over Silana, a mysterious young woman living deep within the forests of Oregon. Drawn to her despite her reluctance, he soon discovers that she may not belong to his world at all. Silana fears her presence has already disrupted the natural course of time and that the consequences are only beginning.
Six thousand years earlier, on the distant world of Piral, a stranger arrives under far more unsettling circumstances. His first encounter is a corpse left abandoned by the roadside, an ominous sign of deeper unrest. Pulled into an investigation led by Nova of the Selanian Order, he becomes entangled in a mystery that reaches far beyond a single death.
As secrets begin to surface, the fragile order of Piral’s Neo Victorian society begins to fracture, and tensions rise toward something far more dangerous.
Though separated by time and worlds, these two storylines are bound by forces not yet fully understood. What first appear as isolated events may prove to be part of a much larger design, one that could reshape both realities.
In a world of breathtaking beauty, home to enchantresses, mermaids, unicorns, and dragons, the clock is ticking.
Can the truth be uncovered before everything collapses into chaos?
